2026 Book Drive fundraising Campaign

On March 1st, the Asian Culture Association held its annual book donation kick-off event in Wheaton. The gathering featured cultural performances, including paper-cutting art by Lucy P. Liu and a Guzheng performance by Chole.

ACA co-chairs Wenlei Mao and Xiaohui Huang presented the organization’s initiatives, while board member Lei Wang introduced the 2026 book donation theme: “When East Meets West – Sharing History and Cultural Heritage.” This year, ACA selected five books focusing on Chinese history, the Silk Road, and Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) heritage.

2025 ACA Sponsored Knitting Workshop

The ACA organization recently successfully held the second round of a knitting event to show love for ICU newborns, attracting many caring participants. The event took place on Thursday, February 27th, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Lisle Public Library.

ACA Knitting Workshop 2025 – Round 2!

The third in-person knitting gathering will serve as the grand finale of this season. We extend our sincere gratitude to Midwest Asian Health Association for their generous support as co-host with ACA, alongside the valuable assistance of UCA WAVES.

The event will begin with a few minutes of finger exercises to warm up hands and joints. From 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, participants will spend an hour adding cute ears to existing hats while learning speedy hat-knitting techniques.
